Today we cut out the front of out robot. We also drilled holes in the side blocks for the front axles. The wires for the gear box were soldered together. All of this progress can be seen in our pictures. Awesome.

On wednesday we cut out two 16 in. chucks of wood for the base sides of our super robot. I got to use the chop saw again and did not lose a finger. We also drilled the holes in the wood where the axels will go through to connect to the wheels. An overall awesome day!

On tuesday we cut out the base of our awesome robot from masonite. We also did a super duper job at glueing our axels onto the gearbox.

Today Kyle and I used our awesome airplane dodging abilities to safely get to Mr. Podmers and ask him about the Masonite situation. After that we constructed our rear axles and got the lead wires for our gear box. Twas awesome.

On friday we created a "Prototype" of our super awesome robot. The reason we made a prototype was due to the fact we didnt have a big enough chuck of masonite to fit all the awesomeness on. We created the base of our super robot from the masonite and foam. Hopefully on Monday we will get the right size masonite so we can start our final designs.

In today's super awesome class we had an awesome discussion with Mr. Reinhardt about our super awesome drawings (two awesome posts down). After this we had more ideas and we were going to start building our awesome robot. However do to a lack of large pieces of Masonite we were unable to construct.

Today was a very special day. We began and finished our super awesome final drafts for our super duper awesome machine. Our drawings turned out much better then Steven and Adam's drawings. They can be seen below. With the drawings done we plan on starting to build our design tomorrow. Awesome!

Tuesday was a day where we made our super awesome gear box even more super awesome. I think that made it superer awesomer but I'm not too sure. It is superer awesomer because we fixed the gear ratio making it 30ish to one instead of 300ish to one. This will allow our vehicle to travel at much greater speeds. However I just got ahead of myself. At the beginning of the hour we witnessed a super duper demonstration that taught us how to connect everything to our transmitter. We were supposed to see this demonstration last week performed by our student aids however as noted in a earlier post they are incompetent. We also discussed what materials we can use to construct our super duper better than Adam and Steven's robot.

On Monday we got our super awesome gear boxes. We spent the whole day putting it together. We accidentally set the motors to full torque and slow speed which is not super duper. We plan on changing it to a lower torque tommorrow.

Friday was a day that was supposed to be super duper awesome however due to the lack of awesomeness on the part of our student aids we missed out on a demonstration. This allowed more brainstorming and resolutions to be made. Also significant progress was made on the drawings that are all on the super awesome sketches and ideas blog.

Thursday, what a day. We realized what some of our major flaws and they were resolved making our engineering project even more super awesome.

Wednesday was a very interesting day as we started more detailed drawings and much awesome brainstorming occurred.

On Tuesday we got super awesome kits from last year and started looking at many of the components that were used the previous year. I'm so excited.

On Monday we formed our groups, got the syllabus and set up this awesome blog with fish.
